Many objects in the spacetime accelerate, many of them move with a speed
close to the speed of light relatively to our Earth.
From their point of view they can detect and measure our distances being
shorter, our mass possibly larger.
Indeed nothing here changes to us on our Earth no matter how fast those
possibly observing us objects from another coordinate system travel, we and
our cars need the same amount of energy, the same amount of fuel to
accelerate by the same speed intervals in certain time intervals.
The same could be with an accelerating spacecraft being far from any other
material objects. Whatever we could observe from Earth, from our coordinate
system that probably its mass increases when it closes to the speed of light
does not influence the acceleration of the spacecraft having its own
propulsion, and astronauts can measure its real speed from inside the
spacecraft using a simple equation v=a*t (where a - acceleration of a
spacecfraft measured by created internal artificial gravity, and t - time of
accelerating with the constant acceleration value) no matter what they can
observe outside.
Could be more simple exceeding the speed of light and reaching other Solar
systems with similar planets to Earth during a few months, possibly weeks in
the far future when people discover other propulsions?
