As I told Rushtown ( 8+ days ago )...
The known history ( not the age ) of the Milky Way is estimated to be
about gigayears old, the same as the known history of the Universe.

100 years ago, the Milky Way was the “ Known Universe ”
and its “ known history ” was estimated to be 100 megayears.
In other words, the term “ Age of the Universe ” is a misnomer.

The entire history of science boils down to this one notion:
“ Physical processes determine absolutely everything. ”.

Wherever a system is predictable, . atomic clocks and planetary orbits,
time is the 4th --> spatial <-- dimension, seconds are a length
and there are no changes, no choices, no ( 4-D ) movement.

Ignorant, we feel cosmic entropy ( . spontaneous dissipation ),
has entraped in a virtual casino, taking all, eventually.
I call this “ The Virtual Arrow of Time ”.

Virtual time ( . cosmic entropy ) is Thee God Almighty
because it creates, maintains and destroys all that is or ever was.
As lesser gods, we mimic that ( virtual ) action.
