I didn't say these things don't exist.
Nobody can say that.
Honest scientists won't say that.
However if you believe in something without scientific evidence (even
just using your own personal experiences, and even if it really does
exist), then your reasoning is faulty. To see the lack of reasoning,
ask any supernatural believer to suggest how they might be wrong.

We could spend millions investigating if the earth is flat, we could
spend millions searching for flying monkeys on the moon. Just because
few people believe in these things, doesn't mean they aren't true.
Where do you draw the line? Should it be a popularity contest?

Of course you can, but I'm talking about studying the room they're in,
after they've gone, searching for the monsters they saw.
